Happy New Year! Big plans for 2021
I hope that everyone had as good a Christmas and New Year as you are able to given the circumstances (for my followers abroad - here in the UK we are now into our third national lockdown due to COVID). Thank you for joining me in this journey through 2021! This is only a short post today, letting you know what I will be up to in the next few weeks and what you will be seeing here on my blog.
Firstly I need to catch up on a few portrait commissions - as my lovely Beagle, Jess, was very poorly over Christmas, which left me a little behind. I am very happy to say however that Jess is now fully recovered and back to her normal, naughty self! I regularly post Jess updates (and my other pets!) into my instagram stories so check those out if you want to keep up to date with her antics!
There are a lot of very exciting plans for 2021 which I will reveal to you all as soon as I am able to. I am continuing with my 'Dogs!' project which ha to be put on the back burner in 2020 and I hope to have several completed for the end of the year. I will also be adding some Christmas offerings this year - including Christmas cards and hopefully a calendar.
I am looking forward to events being open again and I am planning a full season of country shows and art/craft events so I really hope to meet some of my wonderful supporters very soon!
Lastly I am planning some more tutorials, including written tutorials which will be available on my site, along with live draws on my Facebook and Instagram. I will also be posting some business help for other artists, in the form of YouTube videos, Facebook and Instagram lives and future blog posts. Before becoming an artist I spent many years working in the charity sector in marketing, communications, PR and fundraising roles and want to share this experience with other artists and creative business owners (If this interests you please let me know what sort of things you would like to see or hear about by emailing me on firstname.lastname@example.org)
Thank you everyone for your continued support! Here is to a great 2021! Stay safe and I will speak to you soon.
